Tiffany Hasbourne
Sought-after costume designer and stylist Tiff Hasbourne curates conversation-starting and career-accelerating looks for award-winning talent. As chronicled by Vulture, The Fader, The Huffington Post, and The Los Angeles Times, her influence courses through television, adding another dimension to every project.
Growing up in Queens, NY, Tiff gravitated toward fashion at a young age. She inherited a treasure trove of old Vogue Magazines from her mother and grandmother, which served as inspiration long before the term entered the lexicon. At barely nineteen, she crafted her first custom pieces for Jagged Edge. After honing her skills as a stylist in New York, she designed a New York Knicks jersey for Angie Martinez’s Summer Jam appearance, paving the way for a longstanding friendship and collaborative relationship. She went on to style 50 Cent for the covers of his first two blockbuster albums, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre, as well as G-Unit’s Beg For Mercy and styling Nas for the cover of Street’s Disciple.
On the other end of the spectrum, Disney recruited her to style the cast of the record-breaking High School Musical, followed by Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2. Simultaneously, her influence grew in hip-hop as she created one-of-a-kind pieces for Missy Elliott, styled French Montana for his XXL Freshman cover, and handled styling for Bobby Shmurda. Actualizing a lifelong dream, she landed her first job as an Assistant Costume Designer on the first season of HBO’s Ballers, before receiving a promotion to Costume Designer for the second season. She developed the world-famous persona of Ricky Jerret, played by John David Washington. Drawing on her experience in a military family, she served as Costume Designer on Shooter before costuming Atlanta. In 2021, she made the leap to the big screen as Costume Designer for Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, crafting an edgy, militaristic look for Michael B. Jordan. Her further projects include Hustle, starring Adam Sandler and produced by Happy Madison and SpringHill Company, as well as The Mothership, featuring Academy Award winner Halle Berry. Along the way, she dressed Lena Waithe on the night she made history as “the first Black woman to win an Emmy Award for writing,” collaborated with Uzo Aduba on In Treatment, and most recently costumed Shadowforce, an upcoming film starring Kerry Washington and Omar Sy.
Tiff has also made her mark in the commercial space, working with NBA2K, Jordan Brand for Nike, Mercedes-Benz, American Express, Muscle Milk, Seagram’s, and more.
No matter the canvas, Tiff always delivers obsession-worthy designs.
